We knew what a very good realtor she was because she helped us buy our place six years ago. But since then, she’s become even better. With her help, we recently sold our parents’ house. It was not easy, as we had to make numerous emotional decisions related to improvements. We wanted to make the place attractive for the next owners while preserving the original charm of the house. Sarah helped us in a many ways — gave us improvement suggestions, vendor recommendations, and much more. Sarah understands the market very well, is a great communicator, and always available. We appreciate her patience, persistence, and guidance.

Sarah Francois is one of the top realtors in St. Louis. She came highly recommended from within the industry. Sarah made the whole home-buying process seamless. She answered all of our questions, no matter how pedestrian they seemed. She is extremely prompt and always finds availability to help.

In addition, due to her experience as a home-renovator, she was able to estimate most repairs or updates as we looked at each house. After we found the perfect house, she has been able to recommend well-regarded, reputable contractors to make updates to our home.

Sarah was great. She helped me with everything start to finish. I was selling my place while living in a different state and it was such a relief to be able to rely on Sarah to handle everything from getting the place cleaned up and ready for sale to negotiating multiple offers to make sure I got the best offer possible (20k over what I expected!). She even handled last minute changes from the buyers side without breaking a sweat. The whole process was seamless thanks to Sarah’ expertise. Sarah was the best agent we could have asked for when selling our home. We inherited our home as 20 year olds and really were not in tuned with the lingo and the process of selling. She explained everything very well and made sure we never missed a deadline. Her patience with us, knowledge & kindness will never be forgotten. I would recommend her to EVERYONE!

I could not recommend Sarah more highly. My wife and I were first time homebuyers and found the prospect of buying a home daunting. We didn’t know the process and didn’t know who to trust. We were so incredibly lucky that a friend recommended we reach out to Sarah. I seldom write reviews online but I’m doing so now because I really want other people to get that same advice.

On our first call with Sarah she took the time to explain to us the entire process from beginning to end and what we should expect at each step. When we started touring houses she was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. She would identify issues (like an outdated furnace or cracks in the foundation) that we wouldn’t have spotted without her. And she was so patient and understanding as we visited A LOT of houses and only gradually figured out what we wanted and what we could live without in our ultimate purchase. We never felt pressured or that we were a burden on her time (even though we constantly worried that we were).

Perhaps most importantly, she proved to have incredible instincts and judgment about the local market. On multiple occasions we would visit a house and Sarah would tell us that it was listed too high and we shouldn’t make an offer, or that the house would likely get multiple offers before the weekend was over. She was right each time. The homes that she said were listed too high would stay on the market for weeks after we visited and then reduce the list price; the homes that she said would sell quickly did just that. We realized later that a different agent might have advised us to make an offer at the list price on one of the homes that was listed too high.

After we found our home and made our offer, Sarah was instrumental in negotiating with the seller’s agent to have the seller fix a sewer line before we closed. She was honest with us about how much leverage we had in the negotiations but pushed back where she could and got it done. Throughout the process she was incredibly responsive, giving us updates about her conversations with the seller’s agent multiple times a day.

And on top of all that, my wife and I just enjoyed hanging out with her! When we toured houses we found ourselves chatting with Sarah about various non-home-related things or joking about the seller’s décor choices. That Sarah is so friendly and fun to be around made the stressful and time-consuming process more enjoyable.
